Compensation & Earnings

  • 40% - 60% Commission per student based on experience & retention

  • Performance incentives every 6 months based on student retention & feedback

  • Opportunity to transition into a fixed-rate / fixed-salaried position


Earnings depend on teaching load, retention, and schedule availability.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire students of all ages—from curious beginners to aspiring performers

  • Deliver engaging lessons that emphasize musical understanding over rote learning

  • Prepare students for exams, recitals, and competitions with confidence

  • Personalise teaching approach to each student’s unique learning style

  • Responsible and punctual for classes


What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Classical Performance (Music, or a related field)

  • 3–5 years of teaching experience

  • Strong foundation in music theory and piano/violin techniques

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, enthusiastic, and student-first mindset

  • Preference for candidates available on weekends


Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience preparing students for graded exams (ABRSM)

  • Performance experience

  • Confidence teaching both children (from age 3+) and adults

  • Experience teaching in group settings
